Making the world a more equitable place by building community through music, education, and conversation.

For thirteen years as a boutique booking agency known as Quicksilver Productions, Rob Miller and Martha Dantzic worked to bring top notch original Americana music from Europe, Canada and the US to some of the best venues around the globe with talented artists including: Town Mountain, I Draw Slow, Foghorn Stringband, Kaia Kater, Caleb Klauder Country Band, New Country Rehab, Jackstraw, Betse Ellis, Anne & Pete Sibley, Laurie Lewis, Dry Branch Fire Squad, Ben Hunter & Joe Seamons, FY5, Halden Wofford & the HiBeams, Spring Creek, Honey Don't, Dirty Kitchen, Phoebe Hunt and the Blue Canyon Boys.

Known for our passion for exquisite talent, Quicksilver has always put the music first and been honored to work with the best Americana roots festivals and venues to bring thousands of inspirational and explosive performances to the stage over the years.  We treasure our time working in this close-knit industry and the many friendships and trusted relationships we’ve forged.

Building on the strength of our team and partners, Quicksilver decided to shift gears to become a non-profit presenting music as The Quicksilver Productions Foundation, with a mission to “Make the world a more equitable place by building community through music, education and conversation”.  By bringing diverse qualified artists to venues, music series, and schools we believe we can both serve the communities and artists through exposure that leads to meaningful dialogue and progressive change. All the while enjoying music from exceptional musicians, songwriters, and artists.

Carrying over from the agency to the foundation is Rob Miller who will partner with the foundation as our Talent Buyer.  Samantha Schwartz will continue to serve as Administrative Director. Long time employee Anna Creek will serve in an advisory role. The amazingly organized Jill Murphy will hold the appropriate title of Secretary. And long time friend and industry professional John Smith, will be joining the Quicksilver Productions Foundation as Treasurer.

Martha Stracener Dantzic, founder of Quicksilver Productions in 2008, and now the Quicksilver Productions Foundation in 2022, will continue her roll as our fearless leader, and formally as the foundation’s Director.

While our team has been small, our strength has been fierce, our passion has been zealous and our commitment to our artists unmatched.

The Quicksilver Foundation looks forward to working with you all, with our new hats and new boots on, in 2022 and beyond as we strive to make the world a more equitable place by building community through music, education and conversation.  Thank you for being a part of our ride!
